Sally Face Wiki

Trapanrot is one of Beelzebub's artworks encountered by Sal Fisher during a dream sequence in The Trial.

Appearance[]

Trapanrot appears as a set of levitating, amputated human limbs. Each limb has stitches located at their joints, making it appear as though they have been stitched together. The right hand forms a "mouth", from which they speak.

Personality[]

Much like the rest of Beelzebub's art, Trapanrot expresses deep pain and remorse.

It is especially saddened by the fate of an unnamed lover.

Biography[]

Trapanrot was found behind Beelzebub's third door. When Sal approached them, they spoke a cryptic message:

I was broken before he found me. Scattered and lost. Then he looked upon my face and saw all of me at once. After being discarded by everyone else, after years of not being seen or heard... he saw me. And we were in love. And everything was perfect. Until it all fell apart again. Now there is only pain.
Trapanrot

When Sal reported back to Beelzebub, he noted that Trapanrot was heartbroken.

Trivia[]

  • Trapanrot's name spelled backwards is "Torn Apart". Additionally, their name can be a combination of "trepan" (alternatively spelled "trapan") and "rot". A trepan is a surgical instrument used to remove pieces of bone from the skull. The word can also mean "to entrap/snare".
  • It's possible that Trapanrot's limbs belong to Sara, David's "wife", a mannequin that is missing both of her arms and legs.
