Development
The sequel was first announced on December 17, 2019 in the Sally Face Postmortem posted on Steve Gabry’s wordpress. In the blog post, Gabry confirmed there would be another Sally Face game, though he was uncertain if he would start the project immediately or work on another game.[2]
In a Developer Q&A uploaded to his YouTube channel on April 8, 2021, Gabry stated he had an extensive outline and gave a few details regarding the game. He confirmed it would indeed be a sequel taking place not long after the first game, and would follow familiar characters while also introducing new ones.[1]
