The Puzzle Box was an item that once belonged to Jim Johnson that was found in Larry Johnson's tree house. It contained the Cognition Key.
History[]
At an unknown time, Jim acquired the Puzzle Box and placed the Cognition Key inside it. Following his disappearance, Jim’s son, Larry, kept the Puzzle Box in the tree house along with Jim’s other belongings in hopes of his return.
The Puzzle Box remained in the tree house until it was found by Sal Fisher, who believed it could help break Larry’s “curse” and aid in uncovering the mysteries surrounding Addison Apartments. However, he was unable to solve it due to the box missing a piece.
After finding the missing piece in David’s apartment, Sal was finally able to solve the puzzle. Inside, he discovered the Cognition Key, which allowed Jim (as the Phantom) to begin contacting him through the White Room. Following this encounter, both the Puzzle Box and Cognition Key vanished and were somehow replaced with a Rubix cube.
Trivia[]
- The Puzzle Box resembles the Hex Key that was found in Mrs. Packerton's desk.
