The pocket knife is an item that appears in "The Trial".
Location
The pocket knife can be found in the kitchen of Room 203 of Addison Apartments.
Uses
The pocket knife is required to find two of the nine VHS tapes and unlock the "Her Fate" Achievement:
- Tape 3/OTHERS: Using the pocket knife on the patch of carpet in the first bedroom of Room 201 allows access to the floor safe, which holds the tape.
- Tape 4/BRIDGE: The pocket knife repairs the broken tape in Room 404.
Using the pocket knife on the birdcage in Room 502 allows access to the tooth puzzle, which grants the temple key when solved.
Trivia
- The pocket knife bears a symbol that is nearly identical to the alchemical symbol for sulfur, albeit inverted.
