The necklace is an item that first appears in The Wretched. It belonged to Megan Holmes.
Location
The necklace is found in the Lost and Found box located in the basement of Addison Apartments. It is later in found near the bathroom.
Uses
The necklace is required to summon Megan in the bathroom of Room 504, and thus proceed through the game.
History
The necklace originally belonged to Megan’s grandmother, who later passed it on to Stacy. Stacy later gave the necklace to Megan hoping it would keep her safe.
Following Megan’s death, the necklace was placed in the Lost and Found box by an unknown person. There, it remained until it was retrieved by Sal Fisher, who believed the necklace could help summon Megan's ghost. This suspicion turned out to be correct, and Megan was happy to be reunited with her necklace. The necklace was hung on a towel rack in Room 504’s bathroom so that Megan could always have it close by since she could no longer wear it. It remained in the bathroom until it mysteriously vanished sometime before the mass murder that took place at the apartment complex. Its current whereabouts are unknown.
Trivia
- Considering Megan was not wearing the necklace as a ghost, she was not wearing it when she was killed.
