Janis Morrison was the wife of Ray Morrison and the mother of Todd Morrison. She made her first appearance in "The Bologna Incident".
Appearance
Janis had brown eyes and waist-length light brown hair. Her skin's undertone was notably pink. She wore a pale yellow long-sleeve shirt, purple pants, and bright yellow socks. She generally held the visible demeanor of a stoner; content, but seeming to look a bit beyond wherever she faced.
Personality
Janis and her husband were both laid-back and widely affectionate. She had a rather optimistic and appreciative outlook on the world[1].
Biography
In 1977[2], Janis and Ray's son Todd was born; sometime before or after this, their family had moved or would move into Addison Apartments. She and her husband seem to enjoy partaking in recreational drug use, as implied by the hookah sitting beside their couch, as well as the marijuana they would grow in the future.
On the day of the bologna incident, Janis lounged on the couch with her husband. When Sal stopped by again with a cup of Addison Tea, Janis requested he leave it with her, as she enjoyed its aroma[3]. When he complied, she then gave him a chocolate bar that she had bought for Todd, who didn't want it.
On the day that the Red-Eyed Demon was summoned, Janis's soul was corrupted by the Dark along with all the other tenants. Once the Pillar was destroyed, she was temporarily put right, but was later killed by Sal to prevent the darkness from spreading.
Trivia
- Janis and her husband's demeanors, drug use, and lack of technology implied them to be part of the hippie movement.
- Janis' favourite colour was, of course, yellow[4].
- Janis was friends with Lisa[5].
