Cassandra Sanderson, otherwise known as "Mrs. Sanderson" or simply "Sandy", was a resident of Addison Apartments and used to live in Room 403 prior to her gruesome murder.

She appears as a corpse in the very first episode, "Strange Neighbors", and as a ghost in the second and third.

Appearance

Mrs. Sanderson appeared to be a light-skinned woman in her middle years. She wore a pink dress reaching just below her knees, as well as purple nail polish and purple earrings, both of which match the color of her abnormally large eyes.

Her hair was curly and green, in contrast to the rest of her outfit. She was seen wearing dark blue slippers.

As a ghost, her clothes were bloodied and her throat slit, through which she was able to speak. She did not appear to wear her slippers.

Personality

Not much is known about her perimortem, due to Sal having never met her alive. She seemed very caring and polite.

In Chapter 8 of In Seeking Providence, she displays considerable bravery, dodging the cultists to retrieve evidence of their doings[1]; she does succeed in this endeavor, before then being murdered by the possessed Charley Mansfield.

After her death, she was filled with sorrow for the way that things had turned out[2].

Biography

Prior to her husband's involvement with the local cult[3], Mrs. Sanderson was a happily married woman who collected Glitter Ponies[4] and made friends with the local residents of Addison Apartments[reference?].

Upon learning of her husband's dealings, Sanderson stole a sacred tome from the cultists. It was an unknown amount of time later that she reached out to Larry Johnson for some assistance with her plumbing, during which he bore witness to Sanderson's grisly slaughter at the hands of Charley.

Her corpse is later seen in the coroner's truck with a giant slit in her throat and a fracture across the top of her skull.

Following the arrest of Charley and the coming of winter in Addison Apartments, Sandy receives a visitor in the form of Sal Fisher. She shares with the boy her fear of Red Eyes and her regret of her husband's involvement with the Devourers of God before being scared off by the aforementioned entity.

When Red-Eyes became inactive after Larry's intervention in Room 504, Sandy (alongside the other ghosts of the apartment complex) became a lot more open and social with Sal, doing her best to stave off perpetual boredom.

On the day of the Bologna Incident, Sandy gifted Sal a letter from an unknown sender - likely the Phantom, A.K.A. Jim Johnson - before vanishing back into the confines of her former home.

Like the rest of the ghosts, Sanderson vanished the day of the Red-Eyes Infestation.
